The situation with the coronavirus was due to the fact that it was discovered among tourists from Italy who lived in the H10 hotel in the La Caleta area, in the south of Tenerife. The hotel was quarantined for several days, today on February 28, 2020 the quarantine was removed from the hotel, hotel guests and employees are free to move around and leave the hotel. Tourists from Italy, 4 people in whom the coronavirus was detected were sent for treatment.

The general situation in the south of Tenerife, and in other parts of the island is normal.
