Tenerife-Coronavirus-Quarantine
March 15, 2020 in Tenerife declared a state of emergency for 15 days in connection with Coronavirus infection (COVID-19)
The main points are as follows:
- All decisions are made by the Spanish government, autonomies must obey
- The health of the nation is a priority
- Restriction of freedom of movement. You can go out for groceries, for medicines, for basic necessities, to a polyclinic, to work and from work (for whom it will not be closed), according to the needs of elderly relatives and children, to a bank and an insurance company, to walk a dog, to go to a gas station. But on a visit and stuff – you can’t
- All educational activities are possible only online.
- All small commerce and retail trade is closed (except for the sale of products and basic necessities, as well as food for animals, pharmacies, medical centers, gas stations, kiosks with the press, dry cleaners, telecommunications, online sales)
- Museums, parks, libraries, as well as sports, cultural and entertainment facilities are closed
- Cafes, restaurants and bars are closing. However, restaurants and bars can sell ready-made take-away food and deliver home delivery.
- All businesses are encouraged to transfer employees to work at home.
- Limited visits to religious institutions, holding religious ceremonies
- Public transportation is also limited. City buses, maritime traffic between the islands, flights on the islands are reduced by 50%
- In case of infection, you can rely on payments in the amount of 75% of the base at the expense of the state, both for employees and private entrepreneurs.
Amendments to Real Decreto 463/2020 dated March 14
– In the above permitted places you can walk / ride individually, that is, alone, or accompanied by disabled people, minors, the elderly.
– Commerce – now hairdressing salons are also closed, only home visits are allowed.
– About administrative terms – they are frozen, but this does not apply to social insurance and the filing of tax returns.
